Ahhh, Twitter. By far the most messy social media platform ever. This little blue bird has opened the doors to so much bullshit, it’s hard to think about where we would be without him.
Over the years, we’ve seen so much shadow, deplorability, and straightforward behavior from our favorite celebrities on Twitter. The best part is, most of these wild tweets weren’t even deleted and are still live for us to watch. Talk about mess.
For the public’s best interest, I’ve rounded up some of the craziest celebrity tweets that I still can’t believe exist. It’s the moments in time that really keep me alive.
Rihanna vs. Ciara: Twitter for Blackberry
It’s hard to believe Rihanna was as vocal on Twitter as she was, these days it seems like she only appears on social media to promote a new product. The mess is really behind it, but alas, it’s killing me.
The quarrel started when Ciara Appeared on Fashion font and had this to say about Rihanna:
“I recently met her at a party. She wasn’t the nicest. It’s crazy because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn’t the most enjoyable race.

Zayn Malik was really Captain Twitter fingers in the day, even came to Calvin harris at one point.
All the beef started when Malik retweeted things about how Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift different approach to the music industry. Naturally, Swift’s BF Harris stepped in to defend himself, and the rest is history.
That Tweet here is still up, though, and boy is that a mess.
Rita Ora: Her Most Important Pop Culture Moment Yet
Needless to say, Rita received just over 1,300 retweets, which probably wasn’t the desired outcome of this publicity stunt.
The cover-up, however, was truly glorious to see. Celebrities should be removed from Twitter.
Halsey: Mess x 2
Pitchfork donated Halsey an absolutely scathing review of his album Maniacal, to which she replied that she wanted the Pitchfork office building to collapse.
He reached a new level of embarrassment when fans pointed out that Pitchfork’s office is in One World Trade Center… as in, the skyscraper built after September 11…. like in… yeah.
Also, it speaks for itself. Huge mess. Sometimes celebrity tweets just shouldn’t exist <3.

Can’t make this list without Azealia Banks
Patron of messy celebrity tweets, Azealia Banks, posted absolutely abominable posts in their day, so it was hard to pick one that was actually safe to post.
Of course, I would have chosen the Grimes beef slash saga of billionaire house hostages, which is WILD, but it all happened on Instagram. This tweet is, however, completely cooked.
