Welcome to Softonic’s breakdown of the ten best android games. There are so many mobile games out there today that it can be hard to pick one that you’ll really like. As such, it can be a good idea to watch what other players are downloading and playing.
This list is based on the number of downloads from the Softonic site, revealing their popularity. So, without further ado, here is our Top 10 Popular Android Games. Be sure to watch this video to see gameplay footage and hear my commentary.
Welcome to our number 1 downloaded Android game! When it comes to the mobile version, the game mechanics remain the same. You will explore vast lands while surviving against crowds in the evening. Destroying objects gives you blocks to build with, and there’s food to satisfy your hunger.
You’ll have to pay for the Android version of Minecraft, but we managed to get some footage so you can see what it looks like. Controllers are pads and buttons on the screen, and you can quickly tap your inventory.
As with most battle royale shooters, you jump out of a plane in Garena Free Fire and land on the battlefield. In your quest to win, you will find weapons and ammunition to eliminate your opponents. When you kill them, just stand on top of their corpses to get more powerful guns, ammo, and armor.
As you will see on my recording, it was quite easy win my first game. Yes, this was my first Garena Free Fire game, and I capped these players so quickly, it was almost too easy.
Are you in the mood for a casual endless runner game? It looks like Subway Surfers is at the top of our list. It features a graffiti artist who pulverizes walls on a train track before a security guard appears on screen. What is unfolding is a endless racejumping over objects and moving away from trains in an effort to avoid getting caught.
The video shows my first run attempt using BlueStacks. At first it seems quite easy until you encounter a train or jump incorrectly. You will probably laugh how many times have i failed in the recording.
Are you in the mood for some psychological horror? After the success of the first chapter, Poppy PlayTime: Chapter 2 quickly arrived on Android after the PC release. It directly follows the events of the first chapter after eliminating Huggy Wuggy for good… or have you?
As you can see in the video you will have these mechanical hands to cross the scenes. I have already completed both chapters on PC, and there is a slight difference in visuals and gameplay. Yet, you will have to perform the same actions to find your way.
Roblox has many exciting titles for your pleasure. Most of the games are free, but many of them have microtransactions in the form of Robux. You don’t need to buy any of the items to enjoy the games, but it helps you progress quickly.
In the video you will see me play Mall Tycoon, one of my favorite games on the platform. I’ve progressed quite far and resurrected about five times already to get new rewards. There are also many scary titles.
Stumble Guys offers qualifying rounds to advance to the next level. At each step taken, you gain higher ranks. The best part of the rewards is that you can acquire fun outfits and gear for your characters.
If you can’t outrun your opponents, push them off the ledge. That’s what makes the game so fun. You don’t want to miss the action in the video as I played Stumble Guys on Bluestacks, struggling to get into the qualifiers.
The principle of Fortnite is that you fall out of a battle bus in an arena that changes every season, shooting other players and completing quests until one person or team is left standing. Each season sees new skins and characters, while there’s always a storyline to launch you into exciting adventures.
You will find vehicles on the battlefield to transport you to distant locations, while chests provide you with exotic weapons. Luckily, your skins and gear carry over to new seasons. But I don’t want to spoil you. Watch the features in the video.
You might not recognize the name eFootball at first, as it used to be called Pro Evolution Soccer. With the dynamic name change comes a few new features, but it’s still the same game from Konami. You will build a dream team of players to participate in football tournaments and championships.
You can choose from authentic football clubs from different countries, selecting their famous sports equipment. Want to know more? I have a specific comment dealing with the game in the video.
With gameplay similar to League of Legends, Mobile Legends features towers and bases on either side of the map. Once you’ve selected your hero, you must traverse one of three lanes to battle minions and opposing heroes. You will face the enemy towers before finding and destroying the base.
What makes Mobile Legends so popular is the ranks. Like you play and win matches, you will go up different levels. You can check out more details and visuals in our video where I show what it’s like to cross the lanes.
Supercell launched this Android gem worldwide in 2018. The concept involves selection of a brawler, or heroes, that you move across the screen to shoot other players or bots. Although you start with a basic hero, you will unlock more brawlers as you play.
There are different modes in the Android game, namely Brawl Pass, Power League and Club League. You will also find seasons where you play different modes for specific rewards. Be sure to watch the video above for more details and gameplay footage.
And that’s it for our video and our article on the best Android games. I hope you enjoyed it and I look forward to making more for you.
