Just a few weeks after seeing their duo, ‘Hold me closer,’ enter the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 on an all-time high, Elton John and Britney Spears have finally unveiled the official music video for the song.
Filmed in Mexico City, the Tanu Muino-the realized visual is loaded with choreography – but not Britney as she and Elton do not appear in the clip. A compilation of stunning and colorful visuals, the rhythm of the visual’s dynamic dancers is matched only by the city landscape.
Speaking about the magical experience, Muino said:
“Going into this video, I knew there would be a lot of emotional expectations from the audience and the fans. With this responsibility, I had to do something different and unexpected. The visuals had to be different. The dance had to be cutting edge to raise eyebrows and make Elton and Britney proud. To capture that magic, we circled around all my favorite architectural sites in Mexico City and brought in choreographer Jacob Jonas who does the best contemporary choreography today. Getting the best dancers, crew and access to some of the most private places in the world was simple because everyone wanted to work with Elton John and be part of his legacy.
Look inside to see the action.
