Tonight was only the second time of Billie Eilish on the Red Carpet of the Met Gala, but she made sure that her following look was just as remarkable as the first. Bringing its own touch to the golden glamorous dress code, the superstar opted for a Gucci royal look of Alessandro Michele entirely made with recycled materials.
Eilish wore a corseted dress in ivory satin and personalized Gucci Duchess, with a green lace underlay and a gathered ivory skirt-and padded agitation, of course. For Eilish, it was important that her look be sustainable this year. “I just wanted to be as eco-friendly as possible,” Eilish said during the vogue direct. The look was also filled with fanciful details. The train featured a cascading flower arrangement and on the bust was a tonal bodice. She completed her look with a black neck with a scalloped embroidery and beige platform shoes made of vegan materials.
Eilish is no stranger to bringing a strong figure to the Met Gala. Last year she channeled Old Hollywood glamor – and Marilyn Monroe! – in a peach Oscar de la Renta dress, which was complete with a long train that commanded the paparazzi. But her thoughtful take on eco-friendly fashion tonight, which still matched the theme, earned her another Met Gala win.
