LOS ANGELES, March 9, 2020 / PRNewswire / – 99 cents Only Stores LLC (the “Business” or “99 cents Only stores“) announced today that Barry J. Feld joined the company as the new CEO, March 6, 2020. Mr. Feld will also be a member of the board of directors of the Company.

Mr. Feld brings over 30 years of strategic leadership and experience in the specialty retail industry to his new role. Most recently, he spent fifteen years as CEO and President and later Executive President of Cost Plus World Market, where he and his management team made Cost Plus a leader in retail. casual products for home and entertainment, including specialty dishes and wines.

Prior to joining Cost Plus, Mr. Feld was CEO of several large, well-known retail companies, including PCA International, Inc. (an operator of specialty retail concepts in more than 3,100 Walmart stores in five countries ), Vista Eyecare (a chain retailer with over 900 vision centers) and Frame-N-Lens Optical, Inc. (which was then the largest optical store chain California). In addition to his management and advisory positions, since 2015, Mr. Feld has been Chairman of the Board of the Retail Management Institute of University of Santa Clara, where he directs and collaborates with university executives and professionals.
