Welcome to the list of the best new Android games that either released on the Play Store or that we spotted the week before. Today’s list is broken down into several segments ranging from best, average, to mediocre. So whether you’re looking for the best quality games or just looking for the latest free gacha titles, you’ve got you covered. This week I have a competent stealth game from Crescent Moon, one of the best text-based games to hit the Play Store in recent years, and a hamburger business simulation from Kairosoft. So without further ado, here are the new and notable Android games released last week.

Best games
Titles that offer fair prices, enjoyable gameplay, refined interfaces, or that are intriguing
Escape!
One Escape is the latest version of Crescent Moon, and it’s an enjoyable stealth game about dodging cops when you get out of jail. More or less, this is a stealth 2D platformer, so it offers a good bit of action, and the level design is also quite good, so some stages are quite difficult. All of this makes for a fun experience when you sneak out of jail, which is why this is an easy title to recommend this week.
Monetization: $ 2.99 / no advertising / no PAI
Knights of San Francisco
Gamebook games are pretty niche, but if you feel like picking up your own adventures and the like, you’ll probably get a Knights of San Francisco kick. As for the gamebook games, this is a very polished version, with even fights. You can choose which body part to take down when attacking your enemies, giving the game a bit of depth where solid strategy can work in your favor. Think text-based Skyrim, and you come close. Just keep in mind that this is a short title that won’t last longer than 90 minutes, but for $ 3 it’s not that bad.
Monetization: $ 2.99 / no advertising / no PAI
Burger Bistro history
Burger Bistro Story is the latest version of Kairosoft translated into English. As you would expect, you will be able to run a burger restaurant in this simulation game, and maybe even build this business into a conglomerate by beating your competition one after the other. Best of all, this is a premium version, so what you see is what you get, and what you get is a proficient professional simulation.
Monetization: $ 6.99 / no advertising / no PAI
Average games
Titles that might not be the best of the best, but still offer some fun and interesting mechanics
Slash of Sword 2 – Offline RPG Action Strategy
Slash of Sword 2 serves as a sequel to Slash of Sword and features updated graphics, new levels, and a new storyline, just like you’d expect from a sequel. Like most free-to-play games, earning in-game currency is difficult, so progress is slow, indicating an imbalance often seen in mobile games, all to push players towards in-app purchases. At the very least, those PAIs don’t exceed $ 12, although you can purchase as many coin packs as you want. So yeah, the game can be fun as it offers an enjoyable RPG-based swordplay, but the balance is irritating, and IAPs are mainly the reason. Still, there’s fun to be had with this version if you don’t mind being pushed into a grind.
Monetization: free / contains ads / IAPs from $ 2.00 to $ 12.01
Mediocre games
Buggy, unpolished, or aggressively monetized titles
Tides: a fishing game
Tides: A fishing game sounds nice enough and offers soothing music, but it’s filled with monetization for what is essentially an idle game. Why idle game requires such high purchases, I don’t know, but the gameplay surely does not match these payments, that’s why it is better to play this title because you ignore these purchases, but then you will have to face a long, boring grind, not worth it for a casual fishing-themed slow-motion game.
Monetization: free / contains ads / IAPs from $ 0.99 to $ 49.99
Real motorcycle traffic
Real Moto Traffic comes from the same people behind Real Moto and Real Moto 2, two popular free-to-play racers. Well, Real Moto Traffic is a racer too, but it’s endless. That’s right, he’s a casual endless runner, and he turns the main series gameplay into a vehicle and obstacle dodge game. Of course, the developer has somehow managed to cram the game with tons of in-app purchases despite the simplistic gameplay, and to anyone’s surprise, if you don’t pay, you’re going to squeak forever.
Monetization: free / contains ads / IAPs from $ 0.99 to $ 89.99
Golf Impact – Around the world
Golf Impact – World Tour is making money, straight away. The game is buggy, the gameplay is inaccurate, and the monetization is horrible. So horrible, in fact, that there is a monthly subscription over $ 10, and I have yet to play a game of golf in 35 years of playing that is worth this cost. So like all F2P titles filled with greedy in-app purchases, Golf Impact was designed to empty your wallet, not for fun.
Monetization: free / contains ads / IAPs from $ 0.99 to $ 99.99
Boom Karts – Multiplayer Kart Race
Boom Karts is the latest kart racing game coming to Android, and it’s a cute game, but the monetization and balancing sucks. It takes forever to earn the coins needed to upgrade, so it’s either paying or continually grinding. This setup is not at all pleasant, which is why it is clear that this game is a jack of all trades. Of course you can race with your friends, and as long as no one pays for the shortcuts things can work out fine, but ultimately the imbalance between who pays and who doesn’t brings the rest down. Game.
Monetization: free / contains ads / IAPs from $ 1.99 to $ 99.99
