Some media have a bad habit of trying to pit one celebrity against another…especially female celebrities. It’s fun for them to make it look like women are competing with each other, even when they’re not.
Sometimes these quarrels are real. Think Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall, Gwenyth Paltrow and Martha Stewart, or Lisa Vanderpump and the rest of the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.Sometimes these relationships are irreparable.
Other times, the friends argue or even fight, but are able to reconcile and mend their relationship. It happened with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, and Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
But, more often than not, women tend to form close bonds with each other. They have friendships that last for years, sometimes even lifetimes. This is true of “everyday people” as well as celebrities. Friendship at all ages is always nice to see.
