Students were in a passenger vehicle that collided with a tractor-trailer around 12:30 p.m., according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokeswoman Sarah Stewart.
Stewart said all six victims were women. The state of the semiconductor was not immediately known.
Footage released by local TV station KJRH-TV showed a crumpled black vehicle with the roof torn off. What appeared to be a pink steering wheel was separated from the vehicle and was lying on the ground.
