After several years of massive success as a professional wrestler, he would make a change again and join Hollywood to pursue his future as an actor. Although facing different kinds of difficulties and obstacles, he would overcome them all to become one of the highest paid actors in the industry.
Dwayne Johnson’s filmography consists of various films. However, his most recent Black Adam turned out to be one of his most anticipated movies in a long time. Dwayne Johnson had been involved with Black Adam since 2007, and it was his passion project. However, the film fell flat upon its release.

Recently, he took to Instagram to bid farewell to another of his long-awaited films, where he would star alongside Captain America aka Chris Evans in Red One. The film should be released this year at Christmas.
The Rock took to his social media and bid an emotional farewell to all the cast and crew involved in the film. He expressed his gratitude to all the members present and said to himself “a lucky guy.” After 48 days of saying goodbye to his dreams of Dark Adam, Johnson once again bid farewell to the cast of his latest film.
“Red One” is an extremely anticipated film, and fans of Johnson and Evans have high hopes for it. Johnson’s superhero flick failed to perform at the box office, but his fans never gave up on the former wrestler and are counting on him to have a blast this time around.
Won’t there be a sequel to Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam?
Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam was released in 2022, and although fans had very high hopes, the film fell short. Although a handful of fans went crazy over the film, almost all critics disliked the film. With the exception of Henry Cavill’s cameo, the film had nothing to like.

Shortly after James Gunn took over as co-CEO of DC Studios, Henry Cavill was let go as Superman. And Dwayne Johnson’s hopes for a Black Adam sequel have also been dashed. Johnson would take to Twitter and announce that Black Adam was not in the plans for Gunn’s vision for DCEU.
