McLaren took fourth place at Alpine in Singapore, as the French marque suffered a double retirement. McLaren pocketed 22 points, four points clear with five races to go.
It was also a huge run for Aston Martin, who moved from ninth to seventh on a 12-point run – ahead of both Haas and AlphaTauri (the only other team to enter with one point).
