Ram Truck Presents Snow Plow Preparation Kit at Work Truck Show® in Indianapolis

March 3, 2020, Indianapolis – Ram Truck today presented a new snow plow preparation package for the Ram 1500 2021 at The Truck Truck Association of the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) in Indianapolis, Indiana.
“As part of Ram’s commitment to continuous improvement in the segment, we are now offering a snow plow prep package for Ram 1500 customers,” said Reid Bigland, Ram brand manager. “Ram has taken a greater presence in the commercial vehicle market, and this offering is the latest expansion of our hard-working trucks.”
The new Ram 1500 snowplow preparation option is available for $ 195 and includes a 220-amp alternator, a plow wiring harness on the truck side and a rear electric sliding window with defroster. The active air barrier is removed when this option is selected to make room for the plow supports. This new package is available on the Ram 1500 Tradesman 2021, Big Horn and Laramie 4×4 models equipped with the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine, the 5.7-liter HEMI® eTorque V8 8 or the 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel.
The plow, mounts and controller are all sold separately and are available from several manufacturers. The Ram 1500 Snow Plow Prep pack will be available later this year.
