Who will play in the final?
Manchester City will face their Premier League counterpart Chelsea in the 66th European Cup final. City are in the final for the first time, while Chelsea eagerly await their third showpiece after lifting the trophy once, in 2012.

When does this take place?
The match will be played on Saturday, May 29 and start at 9:00 p.m. CET. The UEFA Europa League final took place on Wednesday 26 May, while UEFA EURO 2020 kicks off on Friday 11 June.
Where is it played?
The final will take place at the Estádio do Dragão, home of FC Porto. The arena hosted the decisive match of the 2019 UEFA Nations League and was built for UEFA EURO 2004.
The final was originally scheduled to take place at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. However, the COVID-19 restrictions meant that on May 13, 2021, UEFA decided to change venues.
Are supporters allowed?
Portuguese authorities have confirmed 33% capacity or up to 16,500 spectators. Each of the finalist clubs had an allocation of 6,000 tickets reserved for their supporters and these were sold directly by the clubs. 1,700 additional tickets made available to the general public were sold on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.

What does the winner get?
The current UEFA Champions League trophy measures 73.5 cm and weighs 7.5 kg. “It might not be an artistic masterpiece, but everyone in football is eager to get their hands on it,” said creator Jürg Stadelmann. UEFA Champions League winners are also guaranteed a place in the 2021/22 group stage if they have not already qualified through their domestic league.
Is there a VAR?
Yes. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system has been used throughout this season’s competition.
Who is the final arbiter?
Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz, a 44-year-old Spaniard who is part of the UEFA EURO 2020 officials this summer, has been appointed referee of the final.
Five substitutions are allowed, with a sixth allowed for each team if the final goes into extra time. The team of the day will be made up of 23 players.
