The emotion that formed the heart of the Harry potter series, and the only thing that kept Harry and his friends safe was love. Books and movies revolve around not only the healing power of pure love, but its protective powers as well. Family love and romantic love were the things that got the characters through the dark times Voldemort brought them, with bigger unions, like Fleur and Bill’s wedding and Tonks and Lupine’s wedding, which were then taking place.
Taylor Swift is the reigning queen of romantic songs, and her sparkling tunes capture exactly the kind of sweet, lasting love that Harry potter fans witnessed the series. Naturally, Potter relationships (successful or not) line up perfectly with some iconic Taylor Swift songs.
Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley – “Nice to meet you”

A love that started for Ginny when she was young, Harry and Ginny’s romance blossomed as they got older and both were quite impressed with each other. Ginny’s first meeting with Harry truly “enchanted” her, and she overcame her shyness and exchanged awkward banter jokes with him over the years as friends.
This song perfectly sums up Ginny’s feelings for Harry when she first met him and the timeline of their relationship, even before going to Hogwarts. Her fascination with him was immediate, and although the two fell “in love with someone else,” they ultimately succeeded.

This Taylor Swift song perfectly sums up a romance that began innocently in school as a friendship between two people, and progresses very slowly to love with a touch of the hand, a little change of feelings, growing up and seeing what was in front of them all along.
Ron and Hermione’s relationship with each other could get tumultuous, but it all hid underneath a genuine affection for each other. The snowy evenings, back to each other and sleeping in tents were real phenomena that the two experienced together.
Bill and Fleur Weasley – “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)”

Bill and Fleur’s relationship wasn’t taken very seriously, especially by the Weasleys themselves, who laughed at Fleur and doubted her ability to fit into the family. However, the true extent of their commitment to each other was shown when Fleur said Fenrir Greyback’s attack on Bill didn’t mar their relationship – it was their version of dancing in their best dress. in the rain, fearless.

Getting married at 18 is no joke, but Lily and James knew they were very much in love. Their love affair began at Hogwarts, like many other couples in Harry potter, and in a classic hate turns into a love situation, the two got married and had Harry.

Nothing describes the impossible situation Tonks and Lupine were in when they fell in love. Just like the song, everything was on fire and they had many other obstacles, including Remus’ werewolf condition, which kept them from getting together.
But they did and made sure they were safe until they could be. The two lived and died together in the Battle of Hogwarts, but Lupine and Tonks were perfect together in Harry potter. The song also eerily echoes Lupin’s werewolf condition with its “setting sun” lyrics.
Arthur and Molly Weasley – “New Years Day”

Almost unanimously hailed as the best couple in Harry potter, Molly and Arthur have the kind of love that lasts forever and holds firm in rough waters. The song “New Year’s Day” is exactly about that bond, which lasts through all adversity, and of a partner who stays and collects bottles after a big party.
Molly and Arthur raised a family with less money but good morale, staying with each other long after the pink haze of first love had passed.
Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown – “We’ll never get back together (Taylor version)”

Ron’s first contact with love and relationships was not a pleasant experience for him, nor for Lavender Brown. They had an intense infatuation that lasted for a few weeks, but started to fade when Ron couldn’t handle the grip and called himself “Winner-Winner”.
Additionally, Ron was secretly in love with Hermione, which was shown when he found himself in the infirmary and asked for her instead of Lavender. Both parties found themselves hurt and they certainly didn’t want to get back together under any circumstances.
Harry Potter and Cho Chang – “Getaway Car”

Another unhappy school relationship, Harry and Cho had a spark, but the truth was that for Cho, the memory of Cedric was so real that Harry ended up being a rebound, or the “getaway car” in this case.
They tried hard, but just like in the song, there was a betrayal when Cho and Marietta were interrogated by Umbridge and ended up revealing the presence of Dumbledore’s army. Harry didn’t appreciate Cho “coming to the other side” and their short bond ended rather quickly.
Tom Riddle and Merope Gaunt – “Bad Blood”

Everything about Tom Riddle Sr.’s relationship with Merope was wrong, and not just the fact that their child turned out to be Lord Voldemort. Merope bewitched Tom, an unsuspecting Muggle, to fall in love with her and they married, but when the effects of his spell wore off, Tom Sr. rightly ran away.
There was so much bad blood between the two (which “was crazy love”) that Tom didn’t even care about his son with Merope. It ended badly for everyone, and the damage caused was so extensive that it has passed through the generations.
Hermione Granger and Viktor Krum – “Superstar (Taylor Version)”

It was one of the sweetest relationships on the entire show and a fairytale situation for Hermione who was dating a certified celebrity. Viktor was the superstar in this case for whom “every girl in the front row called his name”, but the love Hermione had for Viktor was not unrequited.
He saw the “wide-eyed girl” that she was and recognized her for her intelligence and distinctive qualities, and chose her among all the other girls. Viktor was actually very respectful and charming, and he wrote to Hermione long after he left Hogwarts.
