10 Characters Taylor Swift Could Play In Deadpool 3

After the release of his 10th album, Midnights, Taylor Swift has been a trending topic for the past month. Additionally, Ryan Reynolds recently admitted that he would love to have her in Dead Pool 3. This confession set off alarm bells for both MCU fans and Swifties. Since fan casting is one of the internet’s oldest traditions, the fandom is already wondering who Swift might star in this movie.

Swift, who is primarily a singer, has dabbled in acting a few times. A figure of his prominence in current media would certainly fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether in the lead role or just as a cameo, Marvel still has plenty of characters to debut in later phases that could work for Swift.

10/10 Aralune is secondary enough that Swift doesn’t fully commit

Rebecca Ryan, aka Aralune, gained shapeshifting abilities after volunteering for an experimental process to create The Order, an Avengers-like initiative led by Iron Man. order, created by Matt Fraction and Barry Kitson, was a short-lived series. However, Aralune is still an interesting character due to her artistic career and complex psychological issues.

It wouldn’t take much for Swift to look exactly like Aralune. Also, her singing skills would help her in the role. If Swift wanted to appear in the MCU without making it a long-term commitment, this character would be a great option.

9/10 Taylor Swift is the All-American Girl, like the American Dream

Sharon Carter’s niece, Shannon Carter, has always been the ultimate Captain America fangirl. She doesn’t have any superpowers, but she pushed herself through rigorous training and earned a spot on the New Avengers team. Eventually, even Captain America admitted she was worthy to wield the shield.

Since Sam Wilson was recently named Captain America, Shannon is unlikely to take on the role as well. However, now that the Multiverse is a thing in the MCU, she could definitely appear in a cameo. Taylor Swift would be a great option for this role. Not only does she look a lot like Shannon, but they both treat a charming American vibe.

8/10 She Could Totally Take The Villain Arc Out Of Mystique’s Hero

A close-up of Mystique's face in the comics

Mystique is a shapeshifting mutant who has changed sides far too many times to count. Somehow, she always seeks her own advantage no matter who gets it for her. This makes her a huge red flag. Given that, this character still has very complex arcs that deal a lot with his psychological development.

If the MCU were to include Mystique once they brought in the mutants, the only way to do her justice would be to give her a villain-to-hero arc. After Jennifer Lawrence and Rebecca Romijn, Taylor Swift could easily capture the seductive but often vulnerable energy of Mystique.

7/10 She’s as elegant and poised as Emma Frost

Emma Frost about to attack in Marvel Comics.

Emma Frost, also known as the White Queen, is a mutant with telepathic abilities as well as a secondary mutation that allows her to turn her body into pure diamond. Originally, she was Xavier’s enemy and had her own mutant academy, but later changed her mind and became headmistress of Xavier’s school. Currently, Emma is part of the Krakoan Quiet Council, and she is also the host of the Hellfire Gala.

Emma Frost is one of the most attractive Marvel heroes, so she must be represented by an absolute idol. Taylor Swift’s reputation era has proven that she can definitely act like a femme fatale in a graceful and elegant way.

6/10 Taylor couldn’t look more like Magik

Magik as Sorcerer Supreme in the comics in front of a candle

When Illyana Rasputina was just a child, the wizard known as Belasco took her to Limbo and forced her to learn dark magic. This, combined with her teleportation abilities, transformed her into one of the most powerful mutants of all time. Currently, she works as a teacher in Krakoa, but she has spent a lot of time dealing with her demons, metaphorically and literally.

Magik has previously appeared in a live-action iteration performed by Anya Taylor-Joy in The New Mutants. However, Marvel Studios hasn’t made this movie an official part of the MCU, so they still need their own Magik. Swift already looks a lot like this character, so characterizing her wouldn’t even be difficult.

5/10 Taylor could be the anti-hero known as the Black Cat

Black Cat smiles in Marvel Comics

One of Spider-Man’s earliest love interests, Felicia Hardy fell in love with Peter but couldn’t deal with the fact that behind the mask he was just a man. It tore them apart and turned her into an anti-hero until Spidey helped her get back on track.

Since Spider-Man’s MCU love interest is MJ, Black Cat is unlikely to appear in the MCU with him. However, Black Cat and Deadpool have teamed up several times in the comics. This anti-hero is interesting enough to have her in a movie without actually committing to featuring her in subsequent episodes. It would be the perfect arrangement if Swift has a very busy schedule in the years to come.

4/10 Blonde Phantom would be a nice cameo for longtime fans

Blonde Phantom spies on crime in progress in Marvel Comics.

Louise Grant, also known as Blonde Phantom, became a vigilante in the 1940s to help OSS agent Mark Mason bring criminals to justice. Fifty years later, she reappeared as an assistant to She-Hulk, now as a middle-aged woman.

Blonde Phantom is exactly the kind of character that hardcore comic book fans will remember and casual fans will appreciate. It’s unlikely the MCU will give her the main arc, but there’s no reason she can’t appear as a cameo in dead Pool. The MCU should take advantage of Swift’s resemblance to Louise.

3/10 The MCU Could Risk It All With A Gendered Version Of The Human Torch

An all-time Marvel favorite, Johnny Storm became the Human Torch when a cluster of cosmic rays hit the spaceship he was traveling in. After that, he gained the ability to turn his body into flames and control any fire around him. He has been one of four members of the Fantastic Four since their debut in 1961.

Since his debut, Johnny Storm has been a male character, but the MCU has gotten pretty loose with his adaptations, especially after Phase Four. Gender bending has become quite popular lately, so Marvel Studios might try it out with a female human torch. Thanks to her charming and often flirtatious attitude (much like Johnny’s), Swift may be the perfect option for the role.

2/10 Deadpool Could Make Taylor Swift Canon In The MCU

A great option for having Taylor Swift in the MCU without making it a big deal would be to cast her herself. Given its absurd humor, a celebrity cameo would be just the sort of thing. Dead Pool 3 could benefit.

Of course, Swift wouldn’t be the first celebrity to step into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Earlier in the year, Megan The Stallion had a small role in She-Hulk: Lawyer. It proved controversial at the time, but recently Marvel repeated the strategy by bringing Kevin Bacon to the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Specialso there’s no reason why they can’t do it again.

1/10 She might as well have been born to play Dazzler

Created as a cross between Marvel and Casablanca Records, Dazzler is a mutant who can transform sound vibrations into energy and light, even creating three-dimensional holograms. Originally a disco singer, she turned to different genres, such as techno and rock.

Taylor Swift and Alison Blaire are blonde, talented women, and fans have chosen Swift as the Dazzler since Fox owned the X-men rights. Now that Swift has embraced a ’70s aesthetic, her similarities to Dazzler seem to keep adding up. Fans would love to see Dazzler appear in the MCU, and Dead Pool 3 might be a good time to casually introduce her as another mutant.
