Love the Marvel Cinematic Universe or hate it, there’s no denying the care and passion those involved have when making these films. It’s obvious just by looking at some of the many costumes that have been shown.

After more than ten years of movies and shows, there have been so many remarkable costumes. These aren’t just unique characters either, as multiple characters often wear multiple costumes throughout the franchise. Some rank higher than others in terms of familiarity and fan appreciation.
10) Black Widow’s SHIELD Uniform (Iron Man 2)
Natasha Romanoff has had several different looks since the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and like most characters, it’s her first appearance that stands out so much in the minds of fans. Marvel and Disney would slowly erode Romanoff’s sexy side over the years, much to the chagrin of fans.
The MCU was still fairly new at the time, and no one knew how Scarlett Johansson would play the role. She wouldn’t necessarily keep the long hair and the locks she had in iron man 2but the scene of her kicking in the hallway in her skin-tight jumpsuit definitely solidified her as a character.
9) Spider-Man (Far From Home)
Spider-Man is a tricky character to create a costume for, not because his look is so iconic, but because there have been so many adaptations of him over the years. His first look in Civil war was met with positive reactions, as was the Iron Spider primarily seen in Infinity War.
It was his costume in Far from home, however, it gave him a truly unique, yet classic look for the MCU. Much more than that, Spider-Man had a personal connection to the suit, as he built it himself using Tony Stark’s workshop. The costume’s black is subtle, but it was a great look for the final battle against Mysterio.
8) Mark III Armor (Iron Man)
Robert Downey Jr. may not have liked the physical suit he wore in the first Iron Man, but it is still the best and most classic. It’s also the most convenient, given that the costume was CGI in later installments. Mark III continues to stand out as the definitive Iron Man suit, establishing an entire franchise in the process.
As the first official MCU movie, there was a lot to do to make Iron Man’s look perfect. They went with something a little more modern than what a classic Iron Man might look like, but the costume team pulled it off spectacularly and gave fans hope as to what other costumes may look like in the future.

7) Shang-Chi’s Costume (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings)
The best is when the costume designers take certain details from the story and apply them to their characters. It shows that they really care about their craft and want to elevate the film as much as possible. That’s what happened with Shang-Chi.
Since his costume is supposed to be dragon scales, the behind-the-scenes footage shows just how meticulously crafted it was. Plus, the short sleeves serve a practical purpose for him and his sister. The costumes had to be made by their mother, who knew that one day one of them would wear the ten rings.
6) The Wasp Armor (Ant-Man and the Wasp)
One costume change that makes the most sense from a practical standpoint is that of Ant-Man. Giving him a fully enclosed helmet is a great way to explain his breathing apparatus, while covering the actor’s face for stunts.
But the Ant-Man suit was then topped once Wasp was introduced. Ant-Man is cool on his own, but throwing wings on Wasp’s costume makes him even better. Plus, the fact that his character is more physical and battle-ready only adds to his look, even if he sidelined Ant-Man in his own movie in the process.
5) Thor’s war outfit (Avengers: Infinity War)
Thor has had a bunch of different costumes over his run in the MCU. All of them have been relatively similar with various tweaks here and there, but if there’s one that should be picked out of all the rest, it’s his Infinity War outfit.
Thor is at a very different stage of his life here than at any time in the MCU. He’s a lot less regal in this outfit, and it fits this character moment. Thor is on a mission of revenge, so when he arrives on the Wakanda battlefield, he’s locked, loaded and ready for action.

4) Updated Captain America Costume (Avengers: Age Of Ultron)
Similar to Thor, Captain America has had a bunch of different looks that have changed slightly over time. Each costume fits well with what needs to be accomplished in this film. The Avengers had a very superhero look, while he seemed more ready for war in The First Avenger.
It’s only Age of Ultron, however, that fans could see a combination of the two. This film was dark, and Captain America’s rugged look matched the tone well. He seemed just as ready to lead as he was to fight, and that would impact his overall appearance going forward.
3) Moon Knight Costume (Moon Knight)
Fans were eagerly waiting to see what Moon Knight would look like on screen. Often criticized as a Batman scam, it was obvious that moon knightThe creators wanted to do something completely different for the character. Fans have to see How? ‘Or’ What different when a photo of him was leaked online.
There were some criticisms of the costume in that it seemed like a departure from the character’s classic look, but it was an equal combination of hands-on material and CGI that ended up creating this Egyptian-influenced design. antique. It may not have been what fans expected, but the creativity and the challenge are to be applauded.
2) The Scarlet Witch Costume (WandaVision)
Unlike most MCU heroes, Wanda Maximoff had an entire arc before donning her superhero moniker. Once she did, the Scarlet Witch was revealed in a very impressive and unique costume that was reminiscent of the comic book pages in many ways.
However, from the start, it was obvious that Wanda would never have a fully comedic costume. It was even joked about in an episode of his TV show. However, once she fully agreed to become the Scarlet Witch, the costume she wore completely blew away all the other outfits she had worn before.
1) Daredevil Costume (Daredevil)
Many fans criticized the very first daredevil movie, but there was a lot of thought going into this costume. Leather was seen as a way to provide Matt Murdock with a suit that could handle the fight. However, this idea was developed in his Netflix show.
At this point, the debate over whether or not the original shows are part of the MCU seems to have been settled, but given how Daredevil looks, it should get a pass for this list. The costume is such an important part of the character that they dedicated an entire season to it, and when it was finally revealed, Daredevil looked exactly like a real-life version of the character.
