$1 million Powerball ticket sold in New Jersey for Saturday drawing – NJ.com

Someone in New Jersey wakes up a millionaire after matching five of six numbers in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

New Jersey Lottery officials had not announced where the winning ticket was sold as of Sunday morning. The location is expected to be announced later today.

Two million dollar tickets were sold in the drawing, one to a person in New Jersey and the other to a person in Georgia. Both players matched the five white balls but not the Powerball.

The winning numbers for the Powerball draw on Saturday April 27 were: 9, 30, 53, 55, 62. The Powerball number was 23 with a power play of 3X.

There were no winners for the estimated $151 million jackpot, which had a cash value of $69 million.

The next draw will take place on Monday April 29. The estimated jackpot for this drawing is $164 million with a cash value of $74.9 million.

At least two other winning Powerball tickets were sold in New Jersey this month. A $50,000 winning ticket was sold at a Camden County grocery store for the April 1 drawing and a $1 million winning ticket was sold on April 3.
